RDTN Episode 50 – We’ve Only Just Begun: Stephen Buonocore (Stronghold Games), Chit Chat (Suzanne and Rhiannon), Panamax, Kanban

The Big 5 0. That is right, we have made it to Episode 50 and we did not hold back. We introduce a new segment Chit Chat with two very well known contributors in the gaming community, Suzanne and Rhiannon. You recognize Suzanne from her Boardgame Breakfast segments on games for tablets and such. Suzanne was also one of the main organizers of GenCant 2014. Rhiannon of course is from Spooning Meeples and can carry on a gazillion conversations on Twitter. They join Marty, I chime in occasionally, in a discussion about helping your significant other find the joy in the gaming hobby.

We are then honored to have Stephen Buonocore from Stronghold Games join us and discuss the banner 2014 year that his company has had. We learn how Stronghold got its start and just how much goes into running a small gaming company especially when it isn’t your full-time job. Then Marty and Stephen begin their love feast discussion on Panamax and I try and muscle my way in with Diamonds. Seriously, if you love card games and those that you game with do, get this game.
