RDTN Episode 143: Everyone’s Gone To The Movies (2018 Summer Movie Preview)
Just a heads up, this is our indulgent show where we get to spend time with Dan Patriss and Chris Kirkman talking not about board games, but about the 2018 summer movie releases. This is the fourth year and it is interesting how many of the ones we discuss are sequels. Heck, most of them are sequels, very few are originals movies. Guess it is always best to keep producing what has worked in the past. Throughout the show, three people were in on a joke that was completely lost on me, hope you pick up on it. I knew they were doing it, but had no clue why. Thank goodness Marty adds little nuggets at the end of the show.
We will get back to the games in the next episode, but until then, remember what the great film critic Roger Ebert said:
No good movie is too long and no bad movie is short enough.
I think that quote can apply to board games as well.
Don’t forget to enter our contest.
