We get a big game to the table, Clash of Cultures. It takes awhile to play, so it is only fitting that we talk about it for a bit. The rules are not complicated, just plenty to go over. While it took awhile to get through, with more and more plays, I can see how this game will speed up over time. It will not be the epic five hour game and could be even one of those where suddenly it ends with player elimination. Solid remake and if it is one of your favorites, might want to look into it.
Then the lighter games hit the table. Cascadia is a good family game in my opinion and the younger game with some help understanding the scoring, should grasp it quickly. Alien: Fate of the Nostromo is not a game for the hardcore gamer by any stretch of the imagination. Reading some reviews, people are knocking it for its simplicity, but before you get to those games that beat you down, maybe this is the game to try. Sometimes, winning is good in a coop game. Machi Koro 2 is a fast dice game, one of those that you can set up, play while waiting on others or have stragglers at the end of game night.
